Root Canals

A root canal treatment and procedure is sometimes necessary when there has been damage to the nerve tissue located inside a tooth. While you may have heard stories about this procedure, in most cases, a root canal causes only minimal discomfort.

This is particularly true when compared to the pain you likely experience due to the damaged nerve prior to having a root canal done.

Our office offers the latest dental technology and techniques to ensure root canals are effective and take the least amount of time possible.

During a root canal, the soft tissue within the tooth, known as the pulp, is gently filed. This is necessary, as the tissue has become inflamed and infected. Once the tissue has been gently filed, the void can then be filled. Finally, we will place a crown over the affected tooth.
